Peugeot has announced a long-term partnership with Rossignol, the French ski and mountain sports brand. The two companies plan limited-edition Peugeot models and Rossignol product collections inspired by mountain sports, to be unveiled from 2027. The partnership makes its first public appearance on Peugeot’s Alps-themed stand at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.

Peugeot and Rossignol, two French brands that each have more than a century of history, have announced that they will work together. According to Peugeot, the two share an interest in innovation, performance, design and craftsmanship. The carmaker sums up the joint aim as delivering “exhilaration at every turn”, whether on the road or on the snow.

Cars and skis under one theme

The brands present driving and skiing as activities with a lot in common: movement, trajectory, control and performance. Rossignol says its products are engineered for precision, agility and confidence through every curve. Peugeot points to its electric SUVs, naming the E-3008 Dual Motor and E-5008 Dual Motor as models that combine dynamic performance, advanced technology and efficiency.

The companies say the partnership will give them a shared platform built around movement, discovery and escape, and that it will run throughout the year rather than only in the winter season.

Limited editions planned from 2027

Limited-edition products are the first concrete result of the deal, and they are due to be unveiled from 2027 onwards. The plan is lifestyle-focused. Peugeot will offer special editions of its cars influenced by mountain sports, which it describes as premium and performance-inspired. Rossignol will add exclusive collections of skis, apparel and accessories.

The announcement does not name the Peugeot models that will get the special-edition treatment, and it gives no details on specifications, production numbers, pricing or markets. According to the two brands, the products will draw on alpine landscapes and combine both companies’ design and engineering expertise. They are aimed at mountain enthusiasts, both for sport and for everyday use. Peugeot calls the limited editions the start of a long-term collaboration.

A first look at the Paris Motor Show

The public gets its first look at the partnership at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. There, Peugeot’s stand takes on a mountain theme with an immersive experience inspired by après-ski. Visitors will find Peugeot vehicles, Rossignol equipment, entertainment and demonstrations meant to show what the two brands have in common.

“PEUGEOT and ROSSIGNOL share far more than their French roots. Our brands are driven by the same culture of innovation, performance and enjoyment. This partnership opens up exciting new opportunities to create distinctive and inspiring experiences while showcasing expertise that is recognised around the world.” – Alain Favey, CEO of Peugeot

Rossignol Group CEO Vincent Wauters linked the deal to his company’s upcoming milestone: “As ROSSIGNOL prepares to celebrate its 120th anniversary, we are proud to open this new chapter alongside PEUGEOT. Our two brands share deep French roots and a common culture of performance and design. This collaboration supports our ambition across mountain sports, both in winter and summer. Together, we aim to create inspiring products and thrilling experiences, encouraging more people to discover the mountains, experience their emotions and enjoy their many benefits.”

What it means

Carmakers often team up with lifestyle and sports brands to give special editions a distinctive identity. This deal gives Peugeot a clearly French, outdoors-focused partner, at a time when the brand is moving its range towards electric and hybrid models. Until the first products are revealed, the announcement is mainly about brand image. Buyers will have to wait for model and pricing details.

The first Peugeot and Rossignol limited editions are due to be unveiled from 2027.
