MINI has released fresh image material of its all-electric Aceman SE crossover, presented in the colour Ocean Wave Green. The five-door model produces 160 kW/218 hp and covers up to 405 km (252 miles) on the WLTP cycle. It sits in the compact end of the electric crossover class, with five seats and MINI’s usual focus on driving character rather than outright size.
MINI has published new photography of the Aceman SE, the all-electric crossover that slots into the brand’s line-up as a five-door alternative to the three-door Cooper. The car is shown in Ocean Wave Green, a shade the company says brings out the model’s clean surfaces, short overhangs and wide-set stance.
The release is primarily an image update rather than a technical announcement, but it restates the core specification of the Aceman SE — and that specification is the more interesting part for buyers weighing up a small electric crossover.
Power and range
The Aceman SE uses a single electric motor rated at 160 kW/218 hp, driving with the immediate response typical of an electric powertrain. WLTP range is quoted at 382–405 km (237–252 miles) depending on specification, with combined electric consumption of 14.8–14.0 kWh/100 km. CO2 emissions are 0 g/km and the car falls into CO2 class A.
That consumption figure is the number worth noting. Anything under roughly 15 kWh/100 km puts a car among the more efficient electric models on sale, which matters more in the compact class than headline range does — a small crossover is rarely bought for long-distance touring, and efficiency translates directly into cheaper daily charging.

Space and interior
Despite the compact footprint, the Aceman SE is a five-seater with five doors and what the company describes as a versatile luggage compartment. Inside, the layout centres on MINI’s circular OLED display running MINI Operating System 9, which handles navigation, media and vehicle settings through a single interface.
The pitch, according to the manufacturer, is a car that keeps MINI’s driving character while adding the practicality of a crossover body and locally emission-free running.
What it means
The compact electric crossover segment has become one of the busiest parts of the European market, and the Aceman SE competes on brand identity and efficiency rather than on price leadership or maximum range. At 218 hp it is comfortably quicker than the entry-level end of the class, and the sub-15 kWh/100 km consumption keeps running costs low.
