Cupra is once again official category and mobility partner for Charity Catwalk, the Danish fashion fundraiser held in aid of Legeheltene under Børneulykkesfonden. The 2026 edition takes place at Aller Huset in Copenhagen on Friday 2 October, the same weekend the brand shows its latest electric models at the EV fair in Herning. Last year’s event raised a record DKK 817,000 for the charity, according to Cupra.

Cupra Denmark has confirmed that it will serve as official category and mobility partner for Charity Catwalk for the third year running. The fashion show, staged in aid of Legeheltene under the Danish foundation Børneulykkesfonden, returns to Aller Huset in Copenhagen on Friday 2 October 2026.

The event is organised by designer Jesper Høvring and Sarah Zobel, who bring together Danish designers, models, artists and public figures for an evening combining fashion and fundraising. Alongside the show itself, the programme includes live music, exhibitors, tastings and activities, the organisers say.

A partnership that started in 2024

Cupra first joined the event as a partner in 2024, when Charity Catwalk raised DKK 481,669. The 2025 edition lifted that figure sharply to DKK 817,000 — the largest sum in the event’s history, according to the company. All money collected through Charity Catwalk goes to Legeheltene, which works to bring play, movement and social contact to children admitted to hospitals across Denmark.

“After three years together it has become even clearer to us why this partnership makes sense. Legeheltene dare to do things their own way and make room for difference. There is a creativity and passion in their work that we both admire and can see reflected in Cupra,” says Anders Rune Hansen, PR & Brand Activation Specialist at Cupra Denmark.

Donations tied to a car prize

As in previous years, the brand is attaching a prize to the fundraising. Everyone who donates at least DKK 100 in connection with Charity Catwalk 2026 enters a draw for the use of a Cupra electric car for three months, including charging. The winner is drawn on 3 October 2026 and is notified directly by SMS, with 48 hours to respond. Cupra states that the collection is approved by the Danish gambling and fundraising authorities and that the prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

A separate draw for two pairs of tickets to the evening closes on 29 September 2026 and is open to Denmark residents aged 18 and over.

Herning EV fair the same weekend

The charity evening falls during the Danish EV fair in Herning, which runs from 2 to 4 October 2026. Cupra says it will use the show to present the new Cupra Raval, the updated Cupra Tavascan and the revised Cupra Born, which the company describes as sharpened both technically and visually. No technical details for those models were included in the material.

What it means

Charity partnerships of this kind are a familiar route for younger brands trying to build recognition outside the showroom, and Cupra’s three-year run with Charity Catwalk gives it a repeat presence in Danish lifestyle and fashion circles rather than a one-off appearance. Pairing that with a stand at the country’s main EV fair puts the brand in front of two very different audiences on the same weekend.

Charity Catwalk 2026 takes place at Aller Huset in Copenhagen on 2 October, with the EV fair in Herning running from 2 to 4 October.
