BMW M Motorsport enjoyed a productive stretch of late-season racing, headlined by an overall victory for Schubert Motorsport and the BMW M4 GT3 EVO in round eight of the Nurburgring Endurance Series. FK Performance Motorsport moved to the top of the ADAC GT Masters standings and closed in on the ADAC GT4 Germany title, while Giacomo Maman and Gustavo Sandrucci wrapped up the GT4 Italy Series crown with two rounds still to run. Wins in the BMW M2 Cup, the GT Cup Series and the BTCC rounded out the haul.

The Nurburgring-Nordschleife hosted a double-header last weekend, with rounds eight and nine of the 2026 Nurburgring Endurance Series (NLS) held back to back. Saturday belonged to Schubert Motorsport: Jens Klingmann (GER), Ugo de Wilde (BEL) and Jordan Pepper (RSA) were untouchable in the #77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, giving the team its second overall NLS win of the season.

Sunday ended early for the same trio after light contact with the barriers. There was still a class podium, however, with Gamota Racing third in SP9 Pro-Am in the #23 BMW M4 GT3 EVO shared by Antal Zsigo (SVK), Moritz Kranz and David Jahn (both GER) — Jahn having taken pole for the team on Saturday.

Ten class wins across the double-header

Beyond the outright victory, BMW M Motorsport teams collected ten class wins over the two races. Manuel Metzger (SUI), Russ Turner (USA) and Alexandru Vasilescu (ROM) won SP10 on Saturday in the #177 BMW M4 GT4 EVO of AV Racing by Black Falcon, then finished second in class on Sunday. Richard Gresek, Maik Ronnefarth and Philipp Gresek (all GER) took third in the same closely fought category in Plusline Motorsport’s #155 BMW M4 GT4 EVO.

For de Wilde, a BMW M works driver in his first Nordschleife season with the M4 GT3 EVO, Saturday was a first overall win on the circuit.

“Winning a race on the Nordschleife was really one of my goals, and now I have achieved it,” he said of the weekend, adding that Sunday’s incident taught him “that you have to be very, very careful when you are on slicks in the wet in changing conditions.”

Two titles still in play for FK Performance

FK Performance Motorsport runs both the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and the M4 GT4 EVO, and is in the hunt in two German championships. At the penultimate ADAC GT Masters round at the Salzburgring (AUT) on 4–6 September — two endurance races, each with two mandatory pit stops, refuelling and a tyre change — Leyton Fourie (RSA) and Tim Zimmermann (GER) won Saturday’s race in the #11 car and followed it with fourth on Sunday. That pair now lead the standings going into the Hockenheim finale in October.

A week later at the Sachsenring (GER), Gabriele Piana (ITA) and Benjamin Sylvestersson (FIN) converted pole into victory in the #51 BMW M4 GT4 EVO, cutting their ADAC GT4 Germany deficit to five points before the Hockenheimring finale. Team-mates Luca Link and Luis Moser (both GER) were fifth in the #49 car, leaving the Bremen-based squad second in the team standings, 13 points adrift. Sunday’s race was abandoned because of damaged kerbs and rain; the ADAC is looking at whether it can be rescheduled at Hockenheim.

Wins across the customer racing programme

In the BMW M2 Cup at the Sachsenring (11–13 September), Michael Schrey (GER) made it seven wins from seven in the #2 BMW M2 Racing of Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport, ahead of Christopher Holst (SUI) and Noah Eichele (GER). Sunday’s rain-hit race brought Schrey’s first defeat of the year, with Holst taking a maiden win and Schrey and Eichele completing the podium.

The GT Cup Series weekend at Brno (CZE) yielded four wins: Rudolf Beno (SVK) took D4-GT3 in the #444 BMW M4 GT3 EVO of Aries Racing and Jan Vojtko won D4-GT4 in the #364 BMW M4 GT4 of GT Sports, with Beno and Richard Gonda (SVK) winning eGT3 in the endurance race and Vojtko adding eGT4.

At Imola (ITA), Danes Mathias Villadsen and Jan Magnussen took third in GT3 Pro in the Italian GT Endurance Series three-hour race in Team Spirit Racing’s #23 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, while Massimo Ciglia, Rodolfo Massaro and Jenni Sonzogni (all ITA) were second in GT3 Am for Nova Race Events. In the GT4 Italy Series at the same venue, Maman and Sandrucci sealed both the overall and GT4PA titles with a win and a second place in the #16 BMW M4 GT4 EVO of Casals Motorsport, with two races to spare.

Century Motorsport’s Branden Templeton and Jack Collins (both GBR) finished second in both the overall GT4 and GT4 Silver classes in the British GT two-hour race at Donington Park in the #24 BMW M4 GT4 EVO. In the BTCC at Croft, Charles Rainford (GBR) won the Independent classification in race two in the #99 BMW 330i M Sport of Team WSR.

What it means

With the GT4 Italy Series title already banked and championship leads or near-leads in the ADAC series, BMW’s customer racing arm heads into October’s finales with several trophies within reach. The ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany seasons both conclude at Hockenheim.
