Škoda Auto returns as Official Main Partner of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, supplying a 75-strong fleet led by the all-electric Enyaq and Superb iV plug-in hybrid. The Czech brand is also using the race to showcase two new electric models, the Peaq and the Epiq, and continues sponsoring the green points jersey. The nine-stage race runs from 1 to 9 August over a record 1,175 km route from Lausanne to Nice.
Škoda Auto is supporting the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift as Official Main Partner for the fifth consecutive year, extending a relationship that dates back to the race’s inaugural edition in 2022. According to the manufacturer, this year’s event runs from 1 to 9 August over a record-breaking 1,175 km route from Lausanne in Switzerland to Nice in France, with 154 riders from 22 teams contesting nine stages. The total elevation gain of 18,795 m is also described as a new record.
A fleet of 75 electrified cars
Škoda is providing race organisers with 75 vehicles, made up mainly of Superb iV plug-in hybrid and all-electric Enyaq models. The brand says it has served as the race’s Official Main Partner since the first edition and remains the long-standing sponsor of the green jersey worn by the leader of the points classification.
For the classification winner, Škoda Design has again created a bespoke award: a green crystal trophy featuring elements of the brand’s Modern Solid design language.
Two new electric models on show
The race also serves as a stage for two of Škoda’s newest electric models. Race Director Marion Rousse will oversee proceedings from the new all-electric Peaq, which acts as the ‘Red Car’ — a mobile command centre following the peloton. Škoda describes the Peaq as its new flagship.
The all-electric Epiq SUV crossover, meanwhile, features prominently in the Tour’s publicity caravan as part of the brand’s ‘Ooooh, that’s Epiq’ campaign, whose visuals appear on jerseys and merchandise.
Fan coverage and a rider ambassador
Škoda is running an Epiq Moments initiative on its WeLoveCycling platform, bundling race coverage, behind-the-scenes features and competitions. Katarzyna ‘Kasia’ Niewiadoma-Phinney — the 2024 overall winner and, the company says, one of the favourites this year — will share reports directly from the peloton.
“The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift is the peak of women’s cycling, combining elite sporting performance with thrilling emotion. Last year, it attracted almost 120 million fans across 190 countries worldwide, and Škoda Auto is proud to return as the Official Main Partner for the fifth time,” said Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing.
What it means
Cycling is a long-running marketing pillar for Škoda, whose own history began with bicycle production in 1895. The carmaker’s partnership with race organiser A.S.O. runs until 2028 and covers 16 top-level races a year, including the men’s Tour de France, La Vuelta and Paris–Roubaix. Since 2025 it has also been an official partner of the UCI Mountain Bike and Gravel World Championships. Using the women’s Tour to put the new Peaq and Epiq in front of a large European sports audience underlines how the brand is leaning on the sponsorship to launch its expanding electric line-up.
The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift runs from 1 to 9 August 2026.
