Alpine has won the main FFSA French GT Championship title for the first time, according to the manufacturer. Léo Jousset and Rudy Servol won it in a Race Cars Consulting A110 GT4+ at the season finale at Circuit Paul Ricard. The brand also kept the Am crown, and Romain Monti and Rodolphe Wallgren won the one-make Alpine ELF Cup Series.
A three-way fight settled on Sunday
The FFSA French GT Championship finale drew 33 cars, the biggest grid of the year. Alpine had already won five Pro-Am races this season. It arrived with three of the five crews still able to take the title: Rudy Servol and Léo Jousset (A110 GT4+, Race Cars Consulting), Jérémy Corsin and Lukas Papin (A110 GT4+, Schumacher GP), and Laurent Hurgon and Lazare Lartigau (A110 GT4+, Chazel Technologie Course).
Sacha Bottemanne and Viny Beltramelli won Saturday’s opening race in a Code Racing Development A110 GT4 Evo. After that race, only three crews were still in contention. Jousset and Servol retired early on Saturday but still controlled their own fate. On Sunday, Servol made a strong start and the driver change went cleanly. Jousset then finished the job, winning the race and the championship. Alpine says this is the first time in its history that it has won the main FFSA French GT title.
“I’m also very attached to the Alpine brand, which has helped me a lot since I started, and I’m proud to be able to thank them with their maiden Pro-Am title in FFSA GT.” — Rudy Servol
Jousset adds the SRO GT Academy
Jousset won the Alpine ELF Cup Series in 2025. A year later he has also won the SRO GT Academy, which brings €150,000 plus support from the SRO Motorsport Group and the FFSA Academy for a move to GT2 or GT3 next year. He follows Gaspard Simon, who also started in the A110 Cup before moving up through FFSA GT and on to the GT World Challenge Europe.
“The SRO GT Academy offers me great prospects for the future, so we’re going to try to build a solid programme to continue the upward trajectory that began in the Alpine ELF Cup Series,” Jousset said.
Am title retained
Alpine’s second national title came in the Am class. Stéphane Auriacombe from France and Stéphane Lémeret from Belgium were the reigning champions, driving a CMR A110 GT4 Evo. They won on Saturday and drove a controlled race on Sunday to keep their title.
Monti and Wallgren win the ELF Cup Series
The Alpine ELF Cup Series is the A110 Cup category, run within the same field. Monti and Wallgren (Chazel Technologie Course) came to Le Castellet 31 points ahead of their team-mate Gosia Rdest. Rdest raced with Achille Leroy that weekend because her usual partner, Paul Alberto, was at the European Le Mans Series Rookie Tests. Even without racing, the 18-year-old Alberto won the Junior championship and a €30,000 scholarship to move up to FFSA GT.
In the first race, Monti started fifth and took the lead in the chaos before Turn 1. He and Wallgren went on to take their fifth win of the season while racing against two guest crews that could not score points. The win gave them the Pro-Am title and €40,000 in prize money. Rdest and Leroy finished second, with Matéo Herrero and David Barrere (Herrero Racing) third.
Wallgren took pole in Q2 for Sunday’s race and led during his stint. That secured him the Am title and the €20,000 prize for the best Bronze-category driver. Herrero won race two, beating Monti by 0.125 seconds. Rdest and Leroy finished third, and Rdest ended the season second overall. Alpine says this is the best result by a woman in the series’ history. Chazel Technologie Course had already won the teams’ title before the weekend.
Thomas Laurent was called up on Friday evening to replace Paul Paranthoen alongside Aurélien Robineau at Code Racing Development. In his first A110 Cup race since 2020, he took pole position and set the fastest lap in both races.
“I think we’ve had a perfect season, finishing on the podium in all but one race.” — Rodolphe Wallgren
Road cars in the paddock
The meeting drew 18,200 spectators. The A110, A290 and A390 road cars were on display in the paddock, and visitors could take supervised test drives. Guests from Alpine Stores had a private lounge, VIP tours and grid walks.
