Audi is expanding its lineup of electric SUVs with a new variant of the Q6 e-tron, which combines rear-wheel drive with a smaller yet efficient battery pack featuring advanced 800-volt technology, offering a range of up to 531 km.
Audi is now launching a new variant of the popular electric SUV Q6 e-tron, built on the innovative Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This new model strikes a perfect balance between performance and efficiency with a smaller battery and rear-wheel drive, ensuring an impressive range of up to 531 km on a single charge.
The new Q6 e-tron variant delivers up to 215 kW (292 hp) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds, providing a dynamic driving experience without compromising efficiency. With a net battery capacity of 75.8 kWh (83 kWh gross) and advanced 800-volt technology, the vehicle can be charged at up to 225 kW. This allows for a rapid charging time from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
“With this new variant, we are expanding the Audi Q6 e-tron family, offering customers an SUV that combines long range, fast charging, and dynamic driving characteristics,” says an Audi representative. “This model clearly demonstrates that you don’t need to choose the largest battery pack to achieve a complete electric driving experience.”
The new variant makes the Audi Q6 e-tron an attractive choice for those seeking a premium SUV focused on sustainability, high performance, and quick charging. The model is now available in two rear-wheel drive versions with different battery sizes and outputs, as well as two all-wheel drive versions, including the sporty SQ6 e-tron.
The Audi Q6 e-tron is offered in Denmark in three equipment versions: Progress, Progress Plus, and Ultra, allowing customers to select the variant that best matches their needs.
